It is important to identify potential overuse syndromes and early injury markers, to allow for less time away from classes. When injuries take place, correct expert management is necessary to prevent ongoing chronic injuries to take place. Jeremy has lectured to medical specialists including General practitioners, Orthopaedic surgeons, vascular surgeons and sports physicians, as well as allied health professionals on management of dance injuries. He is a touring consultant to Queensland Ballet company, and a professional member of Sports Medicine Australia. He has appeared on ABC Far North and interviewed about his journey from being a professional dancer to a Podiatrist with a specialist interest in Dance and Sport injury management.
